Played on February 2, 2016. 9 holes.
Clark Park is a small city park that is part of a
larger complex that features rodeo grounds (the Molalla Buckaroo Grounds) and the High School. The biggest challenge
playing this park is not to kill anybody. The holes throw over picnic tables, playgrounds, walking paths, and other
holes and fairways.
Once you figure
out where the course starts, it sort of makes sense which baskets you’re throwing to and where the next tee pads are,
which is a good thing, because very little is marked. Some of the tee pads have numbers embedded in the concrete, some
don’t. Some of the baskets have numbers on them, some don’t. Even if I lived in Molalla I’m
not sure how often I would play this park. But since I don’t live there, there’s no question. It’s
not worth going out of your way for.
You’re on your own.
From there I
went to Champoeg.
